My classes are designed to embolden participants to use expressive colour and form, to experiment and explore. Abstraction in all its forms is encouraged. The sessions are upbeat with ongoing group and individual feedback. 

• Classes are held in my home studio space in Toronto (Eastern Beach area). My studio is a creative space, 600 sq. ft. in size, white, bright, and comfortable.
• The classes are continual, and are designed in such a way that students can start at any time, and take as many or as few classes as they like. Make your class schedule fit your schedule, and pay only for the classes that you attend.

This course provides an opportunity to explore abstract painting and thinking while working through projects designed to expand your normal boundaries; a fun fast-paced class that will encourage you to loosen up and let go of rules and inhibitions.

There is more to portraiture then capturing a likeness of the subject; this class focuses on capturing the essence and drama that is expressed in every human face. Experimentation with colour and abstraction will be encouraged.

There is no subject that is more fascinating than our fellow humans. These classes provide an opportunity to start (or restart) drawing the human figure. All you need is plenty of cheap paper, some drawing tools, and a desire to try.

Starting January 2012 a group of artists are meeting weekly at my studio space to draw and paint from the model. These  weekly sessions are an opportunity to pratice drawing the most complex and inspriting of subject. Short to long poses, no instruction provided.
